Life drawing and sketching has
always been fascinating to me.
In the early years, I enjoyed
capturing the likeness of the
figures and the changing of light
and shade around them.
However, in recent years, rather
than pursuing the figure’s likeness,
I have tried to capture the impression of the figure, as it is often viewed as a symbolic object. I intentionally focus on lines, tones, colours, or the movement of the models; sometimes I searched for the relationship between the figure and the specific space.
In this 30 minutes life model sketching, the model was constantly walking , with fast and slow speed. The aims for this exercise is to catch the movement of moving life model. Size: 49x 69 cm
